Joomla 4 is article is about what is new on Joomla 4, and everything you need to know about Joomla 4.
Joomla 4 Project RoadMap
Like all CMS applications, Joomla also has big plans for the future. When mentioning about the roadmap, we would like to let you know what we are trying to accomplish here.
Time Frames of Releases
When the development strategy was published on the 25th of April 2014, one of the critical features Joomla kept into consideration is maintaining long-term stability and backward compatibility while also beginning to follow a semantic versioning approach to releases. By semantic versioning, we mean Software upgrade versioning. It is the process of assigning either unique version names or unique version numbers to different states of software, which here, in this case, is Joomla.
The releases which we are going to mention here are considered minor releases, and none of them tend to break backward compatibility. Any release that is meant to break backward compatibility will be moved to the next major release which is currently, Joomla 4.x
