How to Check Your BGCSE Results?
There are two official ways students can check their BGCSE results once they are released:
Via SMS
Students can receive their results quickly via mobile phone:
- Open your phone’s messaging app.
- Type your centre number, candidate number, and surname separated by spaces (e.g., BW800 0001 Molefi).
- Send the SMS to 16688.
You’ll receive your BGCSE 2026 results via text message shortly afterwards. This method is especially useful for students without internet access at the time of release.

Students can check their results on the Botswana Examinations Council official portal:
- Go to the official BEC results site at www.bec.co.bw.
- Click on the “My Results” or Results section.
- Select “BGCSE” as the examination type.
- Choose the Year of Examination (Example, 2025).
- Enter your Centre Number, Candidate Number, and Surname.
