The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has scheduled the next face to face mass oathtaking of new Customs Brokers on December 19, 2025, at 8:00 AM, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Plenary Hall, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
What Is the Face-to-Face Oathtaking?
An “oathtaking” in this context refers to the formal swearing in ceremony of new licensed professionals. For customs brokers, this ceremony marks the official point at which they commit to uphold the ethical and legal standards required of their profession under PRC regulation.
A face to face mass oathtaking means that all inductees gather in person at a designated venue, don formal attire, and physically sign or present the Oath Form. This is distinct from an “online oathtaking” an alternative route for those unable to attend in person.
For 2025, PRC has clearly chosen a face-to-face format for customs brokers signaling a return to traditional, in person ceremonies after periods when virtual events may have been more common due to external factors. This underscores the importance of the brevet ceremony, as it allows the regulators, new professionals, and perhaps industry stakeholders to meet, interact, and formally welcome the new batch into the fold.
